The West Reading-Wyomissing Rotary Club invites you to celebrate our country’s 250th Anniversary Berks County Field of Heroes. The celebration will take place on Thursday, July 2, 2026 from 1pm-2:15pm. During this time the colors will be presented by the Berks County Sheriff Honor Guard, the Pledge of Allegiance and presentation of the six military divisions flags led by Berks County Veterans Affairs, the singing of the National Anthem, the solemn sounding of Taps, and a thoughtful Moment of Reflection and Honor. The Reading Symphony Orchestra is hosting the Star Spangled Spectacular, a summer concert & fireworks event, on Saturday, July 4, 2026 from 4pm – 10:30pm. With a strong agricultural heritage, the fair strives to showcase farm fresh produce, livestock exhibits, and everything in between. The LGBT Center of Greater Reading invites you to the 2nd Annual Sip, Sashay & Support event on Saturday, July 25, 2026.  This unforgettable night of community, celebration, and impact is from 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Reading, PA. Enjoy delicious drinks, vibrant performances, and joyful connections in support of the LGBT Center of Greater Reading.

The Hamburg Rotary Golf Tournament will be on Friday, August 7, 2026 at the Galen Hall Golf Course. The event will feature a shotgun start at 1pm, rain or shine, 4-person scramble. Golf, dinner, soda, beer, and prizes will b e available. The cost will be $90 per golfer. Proceeds will benefit the Northern Berks Food Pantry, Salvation Army, Hamburg Public Library, The Hamburg area Historical Society and the Hamburg Community. All entries are due Wednesday, July 1, 2026.

The Annual Kutztown Day will be on Sunday, August 2, 2026 at Kutztown Park. The event starts at 12pm consisting of community and civic groups with displays, firs responder demonstrations, Bingo, a cake walk, disc golf, cornhole, quoit tournaments, and children activities. There will also be additional activities and fireworks to celebrate America 250. Attendees and Vendors are encouraged to wear red, white, and blue.
