The Berks Community Health Center’s Annual Picture Berks Healthy event is taking place on March 16 this year from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at The Doubletree by Hilton in Reading. Each year, they recognize an outstanding individual and a community partner who have demonstrated extraordinary dedication to BCHC’s mission through their time, talent and treasure. This year BCHC is honoring Donald Smith, a retired lawyer who played a key role in BCHC’s beginnings as one of their founders and also served on the Board. They are also recognizing The United Way of Berks County, who has played a key role in BCHC’s founding and has continued to support them in many ways throughout the years.
