St. Paul’s U.C.C. Guild’s Annual Rummage Sale

St. Paul’s U.C.C. Guild is hosting their Annual Rummage Sale on Friday, May 30 and Saturday, May 31 from 8 AM to 5 PM. This event is free and open to the public! Gently used clothing for all ages, as well as shoes, purses, hats, and more will be available for purchase at reasonable prices. Feel free to contribute any donated articles of clothing by dropping off at the church social hall anytime on Saturday, May 24 from 9 AM to 12 PM, Sunday, May 25 from 9 AM to 12 PM, Tuesday, May 27 from 9 AM to 2 PM, and Wednesday, May 28 from 2 PM to 6 PM. Blandon Fire Company 3rd Annual Cornhole Tournament

On Saturday, May 31 the Blandon Fire Company is hosting their 3rd Annual Cornhole Tournament at Maier’s Grove. Check in will take place from 9 to 9:30 AM, and bags fly at 10 AM. The tournament is run by Keystone Berks Cornhole and features three brackets: Competitive, Social and a new one specifically made for fire departments! The cost is $60 per team, and payouts are based on total registrations. Cash prizes and double elimination to take place. Food, drinks, raffles and a 50 / 50 will also be available. Salem UCC Church’s Spring Bazaar

On Saturday, May 31 Salem UCC Church is hosting their Spring Bazaar from 8 AM to 1 PM. Guests will enjoy a yard sale, including handmade quilts of all sizes, crafts, needlework, and baked goods. A light breakfast and lunch, as well as strawberries and ice cream, will also be available while supplies last. Fleetwood Recreation Board’s Sunday Concert Series

Throughout the Summer, the Fleetwood Rec Board will be presenting their Annual Summer Concert Series at the Fleetwood Park bandshell. All concerts start at 6 PM on the following Sundays in June and July, with an additional new concert being added in August. These events are free and open to the public to attend. In the event of rain, the concert will take place the following Monday. Oley Valley Community Library’s Flea Market & Kauffman’s Chicken BBQ

The Oley Valley Community Library is hosting a Kauffman’s Chicken BBQ fundraiser on Friday, June 6. Pick up your chicken anytime between 3 to 8 PM. On Saturday, June 7 from 8 AM to 3 PM  you can enjoy the Flea Market at the Oley Fairgrounds. Shoemakersville Children’s Fair and Parade

On Saturday, June 7 the annual Shoemakersville Children’s Fair and Parade will take place at 10 AM at the Shoemakersville Park. This event raises money for park equipment as well as money to cover the operations expenses so the Shoemakersville Recreation Board can offer a FREE Summer Park program to local children. Over eight weeks, children from Shoemakersville, Perry Township and the surrounding area can enjoy crafts, games, athletic tournaments, social activities, and other outdoor fun. The theme of this year’s Children’s Fair and Parade to help raise money for the Summer Park program is Candyland. The parade starts and ends at the park and is followed by a fair with games, food, and live entertainment until 2 PM.

2025 Kempton Fair

The Kempton Fair, presented by and for the benefit of the Kempton Community Center, is taking place Thursday, June 12 – Saturday, June 14, 2025. The fair features livestock and other exhibits, a midway with kid and adult rides, games and food. There’s live music, fireworks, truck and tractor pulls, vendors, crafters and artisans, a beer and wine garden and more. The Kempton Fair is one of the Kempton Community Center’s largest fundraisers for the year which helps with capitalization projects among the buildings and grounds. The Kempton Community Center is a non-profit, completely volunteer organization providing recreation and events for the Kempton community and surrounding area.

15th Annual Taste of Kutztown Wine & Beer Festival

On Saturday, June 14, the Kutztown Rotary Club is hosting their Annual Taste of Kutztown event from 11:30 Am to 5:30 PM at the Kutztown Community Park. This iconic festival features over 100 wine, spirits, brews, craft  and food vendors. Enjoy live music, vibrant artisan markets, and a festive atmosphere that promises fun for all! 19th Annual Show of Wheels

The Fleetwood Rotary Club is hosting their 19th Annual Show of Wheels on Saturday, June 14 at the Fleetwood Community Park. Registration takes place from 8 AM to 11:30 AM, and judging takes place at Noon with awards to follow at 3 PM. This event is rain or shine! Attendees will also enjoy door prizes, 50 / 50 drawings, entertainment, food, a chance auction, and music by The Sound Factory. Take part in the Rubber Duck Race in the creek for just $5 per duck. Pre-registration for $15. Any registrations after Saturday, June 1 and the day of the show are $20.
