The Michael H. Wise II Memorial 5K and 1/2 Mile Fun Run is taking place on Sunday, September 28 at Reading Area Community College. Registration opens at 9 AM, the 5K starts at 10 AM, and the Fun Run begins around 11 AM. A race t-shirt is guaranteed to all 5K pre-entries. Late and day-of race entries will receive a t-shirt on a first come, first served basis. There is a small prize for the Fun Run finishers. Refreshments, great parking, time clock at finish, and instant results all make up this race. This event is being held rain or shine. No refunds or mailed awards. Results will be available at pretzelcitysports.com in 48-72 hours. The cost to enter the 5K is $30 if postmarked by September 5 and $35 after 9/5 and on race day. The cost for the Fun Run is $5. All proceeds benefit Michael H. Wise, II Memorial Foundation, which honors the life of fallen Reading City Police Officer, Michael H. Wise II, who died in the line of duty in June 2004. Questions?
