The 13th Annual Guts & Glory Health & Wellness Expo is taking place on Saturday, October 3 from 11 AM to 3 PM at Jim Dietrich Park! This event is a free, community-wide celebration of health for people of all ages and walks of life! It showcases a farmers market, educational booths, small businesses, nonprofits, fresh locally sourced food, live cultural performances, fitness zones, health screenings, live yoga classes, massage, wellness experts, active engagement with First Responders, and an interactive human colon exhibit, to name a few features. This event is designed to educate the health curious, elevate the understanding of the health conscious, and raise community awareness of the importance of digestive health through the free exchange of information and resources. This event aims to bring about positive impact to improve the lives of the residents of Berks County by inspiring and compelling people to eat and live better. Stop by this block party celebration, and use all of your senses to inspire and motivate yourself to be the healthiest you can be. The Annual Fleetwood Main Street Fair is taking place on Saturday, October 3 from 9 AM to 2 PM. All proceeds from this event are used for a scholarship fund that benefits two graduating seniors at Fleetwood, as well as in the form of a donation to a local nonprofit. In addition to multiple local vendors set up along main street, the day will also include delicious food, two bands performing throughout the day, an apple pie eating contest, and more! Be sure to stop by Fleetwood Bank’s booth near the ATM outside of the main branch.

Rejoicing Spirits of Eastern Berks County invites anyone to attend their services and fellowship times on the first Sunday of every month at 3:00 PM at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ. Parking is located behind the church with an accessible entrance from the parking lot. All are welcome to each 30 to 40 minute, no-shush ecumenical worship service that enriches the lives of all people, especially the differently-abled, their caregivers, families and friends. Rejoicing Spirits includes music, playing musical instruments, joyous singing, opportunities to participate, brief and meaningful messages, and the chance to connect with others.
