Opportunity House is hosting their Annual Golf Outing on Monday, June 22 at the Berkshire Country Club. Registration, networking and lunch will take place starting at 10:30 AM, with a shotgun start beginning at 12 PM. At 5 PM guests will enjoy a cocktail and award reception. Individual golfers can participate for $350 and a foursome is available for $1,400. Each golfer who participates will receive a round of golf, greens fee, use of locker room facilities, driving range and putting green, and a golf cart, as well as a boxed lunch, cocktail reception and awards ceremony. Jackson’s Journey is hosting their 5th Annual Rock Out Childhood Cancer benefit on June 27, 2026, from 3:00-10:00pm at the Evergreen German Club. Rock Out Childhood Cancer is a powerful community-driven event dedicated to to honoring children battling cancer and raising critical funds to support families in need. Inspired by Jackson’s love for music and his journey, this annual benefit brings people together through live performances, family-friendly activities, and meaningful moments of remembrance and support. Friends of Fleetwood Parks presents: Every Shade of Blues, August 23, 2026, from 2 to 6 pm at the Evergreen Club. Performers include the Eddie Bluestone Trio, The Blue Cadillacs, Dave Mell Blues Band, and special guest Whiskey Kreek. Admission is $10 at the gate, children 12 & under are free. Food and beverages will be available. All proceeds from the event benefits The Friends of Fleetwood Parks, a nonprofit organization supporting Fleetwood Parks.

The 30th Annual Chile Pepper Festival is taking place on Friday, September 11 and Saturday, September 12 from 9 AM to 6 PM at the William Delong Memorial Park in Bowers, PA. This event is held both days rain or shine! Jalapeno eating contest will take place on Saturday, September 12 at 1 PM. In addition to trophies, first place receives $100, second place receives $75, and third place receives $50. Guests will also enjoy music by The Chile Pepper Ramblers.
