22nd Annual Harvest Fest At St. Mary Parish

St. Mary Parish in Hamburg is hosting their 22nd Annual Harvest Fest on Friday, October 2 from 4 to 9 PM and Saturday, October 3 from 12 to 9 PM. Flamin’ Dick and the Hot Rods are performing from 6 to 9 PM on Friday, October 2. On Saturday, October 3, guests will enjoy The Vince Rollins Duo from 1 to 4 PM and The Northkill Creek Band from 6 to 9 PM. Stop by for a safe, positive, and fun community event made for the entire family! Enjoy great food, entertainment and activities for all ages.  Homemade ethnic foods and desserts, including Latin Cuisine, kids games, a corn maze, hay rides, a bounce house, rock wall, bungee jump, bingo, theme baskets, quilt and cash raffles, and a beer and wine bar. This event is rain or shine. Parking and admission are free, and credit cards are accepted.

13th Guts & Glory Health & Wellness Expo

The 13th Annual Guts & Glory Health & Wellness Expo is taking place on Saturday, October 3 from 11 AM to 3 PM at Jim Dietrich Park! This event is a free, community-wide celebration of health for people of all ages and walks of life! It showcases a farmers market, educational booths, small businesses, nonprofits, fresh locally sourced food, live cultural performances, fitness zones, health screenings, live yoga classes, massage, wellness experts, active engagement with First Responders, and an interactive human colon exhibit, to name a few features. This event is designed to educate the health curious, elevate the understanding of the health conscious, and raise community awareness of the importance of digestive health through the free exchange of information and resources. This event aims to bring about positive impact to improve the lives of the residents of Berks County by inspiring and compelling people to eat and live better. Annual Fleetwood Main Street Fair

The Annual Fleetwood Main Street Fair is taking place on Saturday, October 3 from 9 AM to 2 PM. All proceeds from this event are used for a scholarship fund that benefits two graduating seniors at Fleetwood, as well as in the form of a donation to a local nonprofit. In addition to multiple local vendors set up along main street, the day will also include delicious food, two bands performing throughout the day, an apple pie eating contest, and more! Gala of Light

CASA of Berks County is hosting their Gala of Light fundraiser on Saturday, October 3 at Building 24! The reception and silent auction will begin at 5 PM and entertainment, a live art auction presented by the Berks Art Alliance, and awards will start at 6 PM, ending at 8 PM. This special evening will honor Judge Arthur Grim with their Visionary Award and recognize Berks Hearing Officer, Narcy Hughes, with their Champion for Children Award. Special guests are the Ortiz Family who adopted Lucian and Alex. The family and two boys were guests of our 2024 Gala and are returning for our Forever Family Celebration. 2026 Oley Valley Community Education Foundation’s Golf Tournament

The Oley Valley Community Education Foundation is hosting their annual “Swing Fore Education” Golf Tournament at Golden Oaks Golf Course on Monday, October 5. Many local businesses, community members, and education supporters come together for a great day on the green — all while raising vital funds for student enrichment programs to benefit education in the Oley Valley! Dine in the Dark 2026

Vision Resource Center‘s upcoming Dine in the Dark event is taking place on Thursday, October 8 from 6 to 9 PM at the Berkshire Country Club, hosted by the Vision Resource Center of Berks County and Kutztown University Teachers of the Visually Impaired. This special evening will bring our community together to foster awareness and support for blind and low-vision individuals, empowering children and adults through vital programs and resources. The Right Price Game Show

The State Theatre Preservation Society is hosting a 10th anniversary fundraiser by presenting The Right Price Game Show, Boyertown Edition, on both Saturday, October 10 at 7 PM and Sunday, October 11 at 1 PM. A fun and entertaining event with fun and fabulous prizes. Christin Smith Myers will be hosting the event, and the wheel is built and ready to spin! They will also be holding a raffle prize drawings for the audience between games. St. Paul’s UCC Guild’s Pot Pie Day

St. Paul’s U.C.C. Guild is hosting their annual Takeout Pot Pie day on Friday, October 16 from 1 to 5 PM. Pot pie is $11 for a quart or $6 for a pint. Place your order by calling or texting 610.334.1794. All orders are due by September 25.  Pick up will take place in the social room of the church. Baked goods will also be available for purchase.

St. Paul’s U.C.C. Guild’s Pot Pie Supper

St. Paul’s U.C.C. Guild is hosting their annual Pot Pie Supper, bake sale, and silent auction on Saturday, October 17 from 3:30 to 6:30 PM. The dinner is $13 for adults and children 5 and under are free. In addition to chicken pot pie, the dinner includes corn, coleslaw, bread and a roll, as well as drinks and desserts. Homemade baked goods will be for sale, and the church’s annual silent auction will take place, too. Tickets will be sold at the door, and the event is handicapped accessible.
