Pretzel City Rod & Custom Car Club’s 38th Annual Rod Run

Pretzel City Rod & Custom Car Club is hosting their annual Rod Run on Sunday, June 15 at the Oley Fairgrounds. Show times are from 9 AM to 3 PM, and all show cars and trucks are welcome! Registration is taking place from 9 AM to Noon, and the first 250 vehicles will receive dash plaques. This event is being hosted rain or shine, and 20×20 vendor spaces are available for $10 each. Guests will enjoy games for all ages, an auction, raffles, door prizes, a 50 / 50 drawing, and a DJ. Proceeds from this event benefit local charities. Pre-registration must be completed by June 10 and is $12. There is a cash drawing for all pre-registered vehicles, and you must be present to win! Registration the day of costs $15. 48th Annual Flag Day Concert

On Tuesday, June 15 at 7 PM be sure to stop by the Kutztown Community Park to enjoy the 48th Annual Flag Day Concert hosted by the Kutztown Community Choir. This event is held rain or shine in the park’s bandshell. An orchestra directed by Dustin Shirk, instrumental music teacher at Kutztown Area Middle School and High Schools, will open the musical portion of the program with selections of light classical and popular music. Students from Kutztown Area High School are being selected as soloists to perform numbers with the orchestra. The Kutztown Community Choir will present selections of popular music, both new and old. The patriotic theme for the evening will kick off with the presentation of the colors by the color guard of the Ray A. Master Post 217 Topton American Legion. Patriotic music during the evening will include a medley of songs entitled, “An American Tribute,” a medley of service songs: “Armed Forces Salute,” and Sousa’s popular, “Stars and Stripes Forever.”

80,000 Acre Celebration Banquet & Ball Game

The Reading Fightin Phils, are excited to partner with Berks County Agriculture, who will sponsor the America’s Classic Ballpark Commemorative Cup for the first 2,000 adults, on Wednesday, June 18, against the Hartford Yard Goats. First pitch for the game is at 7 p.m. The County of Berks, through its Department of Agriculture, will celebrate the strength and impact of the local agricultural industry with a special event on June 18, featuring the game and cup sponsorship, along with a recognition banquet at Redner’s Event Center. Agriculture contributes over $1 billion annually to Berks County’s economy, supporting key sectors such as farm supply and food manufacturing. To honor the industry’s importance and those who sustain it, the county will recognize preserved farm owners during the banquet.

Berks County is a leader in farmland preservation, ranking #2 in Pennsylvania and among the top in the nation. This year, the County reached a major milestone—80,000 acres of farmland permanently protected through the Agricultural Land Preservation Program. These efforts help ensure a sustainable future, secure local food systems, and protect the county’s agricultural heritage. The Berks County Farm Bureau will enhance the event with live farm animals and educational activities. They will be joined by the Berks County Dairy Princesses and representatives from the Berks County Fair, bringing added charm and community spirit to the celebration.

Greater Governor Mifflin League’s Community Days

The 49th Annual Greater Governor Mifflin League Community Days is being held from Friday, June 27 to Saturday, July 5 at Governor Mifflin Intermediate School. This 9-day event is a legendary community fair that features food, games, rides and entertainment – including the spectacular fireworks finale. Best of all, admission is completely free! The Greater Governor Mifflin League is a nonprofit organization devoted to supporting the community. Since 1976, the GGML has given back to the community in the form of contributions to local fire companies, ambulance associations, scout troops, school projects, community projects, scholarships, and more. First Annual Eastern PA Homestead Festival

The Berks County Fair

The Berks County Fair provides educational opportunities in the areas of agriculture, horticulture, and home arts to residents of Berks County and beyond. With a strong agricultural heritage, the fair strives to showcase excellence in farm fresh produce, livestock, exhibits, and everything in between. Celebrating 171 consecutive years, The Berks County Fair provides fun for the entire family to enjoy, including farm and agricultural events, track events, and delicious PA Dutch cooking. This is the oldest fair in Berks County and the second oldest fair in Pennsylvania.

2025 Fleetwood Community Carnival

The annual Fleetwood Community Carnival is taking place at the Fleetwood Park from Tuesday, July 15 – Saturday, July 19 this year. This carnival benefits many organizations throughout the Fleetwood area, such as the Fleetwood Fire Company, the Fleetwood Public Library, the Fleetwood Rotary Club and the Lions Club, to mention a few. The carnival includes amusement rides, great homemade food, entertainment, and bingo each night. Fireworks will take place on Friday night.

Kutztown Day

Every year on the first Sunday in August, since 1907, the Borough of Kutztown has celebrated heritage, community, traditions, and our family and neighbors at the annual Kutztown Day Celebration in the Kutztown Park. The tradition has been continued from year-to-year by the concerted efforts of the Kutztown Day Committee. This year’s event is scheduled for Sunday, August 3. The event starts at 12:30 PM and will include community and civic groups with displays, first responders demonstrations, Bingo, a cake baking contest, cake walk, disc golf, cornhole games, Quoit tournament, games and rides for the youth. Multiple concerts are scheduled in the band shell, with food vendors and other displays culminating with a fireworks display to close the festivities around 9:15 PM.

154th Annual Kutztown Fair

There’s something for the whole family at the Kutztown Fair! The 154th Annual Kutztown Fair is taking place from Monday, August 4 to Saturday, August 9 at the Kutztown Fairgrounds. The fair is taking place from 4 PM to 10 PM every day except for Saturday, August 9. The hours on Saturday, August 9 are 2 PM to 10 PM for Children’s Day. The theme of this year’s fair is “Born To Be Wild!” Enjoy food, music, animals, crafts, contests and rides. Learn more about the fair here!
