Rajah Shrine Concert Band 48th Annual Concert

Come out for Sunday, May 3 at 2 pm at the Rajah Shrine Banquet Hall for a premier event with Noble Bandmaster Bruce Rohrbach and the concert band. Light snacks and refreshers will be available for purchase. After the concert, enjoy dinner and dessert! Doors open at 1 pm, music and dinner reservations cost $35.00. The YMCA’s Breakfast of Champions

The YMCA of Reading & Berks County is hosting their Annual Breakfast of Champions for Youth on Tuesday, May 12 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Reading from 7 to 9 AM. This morning is dedicated to celebrating the leaders, volunteers, partners and young people who embody the Y’s mission of strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. This signature event highlights the impact of the Y’s programs, the stories that inspire us, and the champions who help move their mission forward. 2026 Pennsylvania Steel Challenge Championship

The 2026 Pennsylvania Steel Challenge is back. The event will begin at 8 am on Friday, May 15 and end at 5 pm on Sunday, May 17. The past three championships were a great success and the 2026 event is expected to be just as successful. The event will be held at the Pricetown Rifle & Pistol Club.

11th Annual Pink Passion Fashion Show: Glitz & Glamour

Breast Cancer Support Services of Berks invites you to the 11th Annual Fashion Show and Luncheon: Glitz & Glamour, Sunday, May 17, 11 am to 2 pm, at the DoubleTree By Hilton in Reading. 2026 Kempton Fair

The 2026 Kempton Fair Thursday, June 18 to Saturday, June 20. This will be a weekend of community spirit and excitement. Admissions includes music, tractor pulls, shows, country line dancing, livestock exhibits, craft shows, and more! This year is shaping up to be the best yet: Pull Off Productions returns with three high-octane nights of tractor, truck and semi pulls, Double M Amusements providing classic rides and games, and Expanded Dairy & Livestock programs.

Opportunity House’s Annual Golf Outing

Opportunity House is hosting their Annual Golf Outing on Monday, June 22 at the Berkshire Country Club. Registration, networking and lunch will take place starting at 10:30 AM, with a shotgun start beginning at 12 PM. At 5 PM guests will enjoy a cocktail and award reception. Individual golfers can participate for $350 and a foursome is available for $1,400. Each golfer who participates will receive a round of golf, greens fee, use of locker room facilities, driving range and putting green, and a golf cart, as well as a boxed lunch, cocktail reception and awards ceremony. The 172nd Berks County Fair will take place from Wednesday, July 8 to Saturday, July 11. With a strong agricultural heritage, the fair strives to showcase farm fresh produce, livestock exhibits, and everything in between. Fleetwood Community Carnival
