The Hawk Mountain Council is hosting their Annual Scouting America Shoot For A Cause Trap Shoot on August 14, 2026 at the South End Gun Club. This fun, competitive, and impactful event supports the young women and men of Scouting America Hawk Mountain Council. This exciting day of shooting and camaraderie brings together outdoor enthusiasts, community leaders, and supporters who believe in investing in the next generation of leaders. Proceeds from the event directly benefit local Scouting programs that build character, leadership, and life skills for youth across our communities. The day begins at 10:00 AM with registration and access to a practice station. At 11:00 AM, participants will gather for the opening ceremony and mandatory safety briefing, followed immediately by the start of the competition. Each participant will shoot a 75-target course, culminating in an exciting Shoot-Off finale to determine top honors. Following the competition, participants are invited to enjoy an after-event reception featuring a raw bar, social time, and awards ceremony, a perfect opportunity to celebrate, connect, and recognize outstanding performances. Every shooter will receive a commemorative participant gift as a thank-you for supporting Scouting. Ammo will not be provided for this event. Participants are responsible for bringing their own ammunition. Come out, take your best shot, and help make a lasting difference in the lives of local youth.
