For 25 years the Borough of Kutztown has sponsored a Summer “Concert Series in the Park“, with concerts running from late May to August. The concerts are held in the historic Kutztown Park bandshell, primarily on Saturday evenings, with a few weekday and Sunday concerts. These concerts are FREE and open to the public, with a variety of bands and music to appeal to different audiences. These free concerts provide the opportunity to listen (and dance) to music all summer long.

Yocum Institute for Arts Education invites you to the grand finale of Dancing with the Reading Stars. The event will take place at the Redner’s Event center on Friday, May 1, 2026 from 5:00 – 10:00 pm. Tickets include hors d-oeuvres and dinner catered by Mayo Catering, Sweet Street Desserts, open dance party, Yocum’s Academy of Movement Competition Team performance, grand finale performance, and an awards ceremony.
