2026 Concert Series

May 2026 - August 2026

For 25 years the Borough of Kutztown has sponsored a Summer “Concert Series in the Park“, with concerts running from late May to August. The concerts are held in the historic Kutztown Park bandshell, primarily on Saturday evenings, with a few weekday and Sunday concerts. These concerts are FREE and open to the public, with a variety of bands and music to appeal to different audiences. These free concerts provide the opportunity to listen (and dance) to music all summer long.

Kutztown Optimist Club Annual Golf Tournament

The Kutztown Optimist Club is hosting its Annual Golf Tournament on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at Rich Maiden Golf Course. The event will be a 8am shotgun start costing $85 per golfer, with food and beverages includes. Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Youth of the Community.

2026 Pennsylvania Steel Challenge Championship

Friday, May 15 - Sunday, May 18, 2026

The 2026 Pennsylvania Steel Challenge is back. The event will begin at 8 am on Friday, May 15 and end at 5 pm on Sunday, May 17. The past three championships were a great success and the 2026 event is expected to be just as successful. The event will be held at the Pricetown Rifle & Pistol Club.

11th Annual Pink Passion Fashion Show: Glitz & Glamour

Breast Cancer Support Services of Berks invites you to the 11th Annual Fashion Show and Luncheon: Glitz & Glamour, Sunday, May 17, 11 am to 2 pm, at the DoubleTree By Hilton in Reading. The 4th Annual Terry’s Legacy Charity Golf Tournament

The 4th Annual Terry’s Legacy Charity Golf Tournament honors the life and passion of Terry Graul, local businessman and former President of Abilities in Motion. This annual event is taking place on Sunday, May 17, 2026 at Rich Maiden Golf Club this year. Terry’s Legacy is a 501 (c) (3) charitable organization that provides grants to individuals with Spinal Cord Injuries to complete home modifications to enable them to live independently. Registration for the event begins at 7:15 AM with a Shotgun start at 8 AM. Cost for golfers is $100.00/person, $400.00/foursome.  1st, 2nd & 3rd place teams receive cash prizes. This year, there will be MULTIPLE contests and skill challenges, with prizes to the winners. Made to order breakfast prior to tee off, snacks and beverages while playing, and lunch (immediately following the tournament) will be served. The Cherry Fair

The Oley Valley Heritage Association is bringing back the historic Cherry Fair as part of the 250th anniversary celebration of our great country. This event focuses on local heritage, with discussions and preparations highlighting a return of tradition. The 2026 Summer Concert Series presented by the Fleetwood Rec Board is kicking off on Sunday, May 31, 2026 with The Fabulous Greaseband. The Concert Series will continue every Sunday from May 31 – July 5, 2026. Bands are tentative and subject to change but currently include, Junior’s Grades, Mission Impossible Band, Cody Tyler, Dave Mell Band, and the Ringgold Band. Bands begin at 6:00 pm, these concerts are free to the public. Come out to Fleetwood Park and enjoy music with the community.

Reading Choral Society 9th Annual Golf Invitational

Monday, June 8, 2026

Join the Reading Choral Society for their 9th Annual Golf Invitational at Heidelberg Country Club on Monday, June 8, 2026 at 1:00 on. The event will feature a shotgun start followed by a buffet dinner (Salmon & Beef). The format is a four person scramble – both women’s & men’s team are welcome! The $550 per team includes golf, a cart, tee gift, refreshments, a cash bar, and prizes. Cash prizes for winning teams in flight: Hole-in-One; Closest to the Pin; Longest Drive; Pot of Gold; and Double your Money Prize Hole. The event will also include mulligans, 50/50 raffle and a silent auction.

9th Annual Laney’s Legacy of Hope Golf FORE Hope Tournament

The 9th Annual Laney’s Legacy of Hope Golf Tournament is taking place on Friday, June 12 at the Chapel Hill Golf Course. Shotgun start is at Noon, and registrants will enjoy a day of fun and golf dedicated to raising funds for our continued battle against pediatric cancer. The tournament will follow a four-person team scramble format. Participants will receive gift bags at the start of the round, and prizes will be awarded to the top three teams. Opportunity House’s Annual Golf Outing

Opportunity House is hosting their Annual Golf Outing on Monday, June 22 at the Berkshire Country Club. Registration, networking and lunch will take place starting at 10:30 AM, with a shotgun start beginning at 12 PM. At 5 PM guests will enjoy a cocktail and award reception. Individual golfers can participate for $350 and a foursome is available for $1,400. Each golfer who participates will receive a round of golf, greens fee, use of locker room facilities, driving range and putting green, and a golf cart, as well as a boxed lunch, cocktail reception and awards ceremony. The Mark Schlott Memorial Scramble Golf Tournament will be held on Saturday, June 27 at Rich Maiden Golf Course in Fleetwood, PA. The tournament will begin a 8:00, shot-gun start. The event will be $85 per player which includes a round of golf, catered lunch, beverages, and door prizes. There is a 28 foursome limit. All proceeds will benefit the Darren Daulton Foundation.

30th Annual Chile Pepper Festival

The 30th Annual Chile Pepper Festival is taking place on Friday, September 11 and Saturday, September 12 from 9 AM to 6 PM at the William Delong Memorial Park in Bowers, PA. This event is held both days rain or shine! Jalapeno eating contest will take place on Saturday, September 12 at 1 PM. In addition to trophies, first place receives $100, second place receives $75, and third place receives $50. Guests will also enjoy music by The Chile Pepper Ramblers. 9th Annual Crime Alert Berks County Awards Breakfast

On Thursday, September 24, 2026 Crime Alert Berks County is celebrating another successful year of fighting crime at their 9th Annual Awards Breakfast. Taking place from 7:15 AM to 9:00 AM at the Redner’s Event Center at First Energy Stadium,  this event honors the recipients of the Barry E. Rohrbach President’s Award, which is being presented to Dr. Susan Looney. The Law Enforcement of the Year Award will go to Det. Robert Long. Alan Kline will receive the Lifetime Service Award. Music & Makers Market

Saturday, September 12 & Sunday, September 13, 2026

On Saturday, September 12 and Sunday, September 13 the Mohnton-Cumru Lions Club is hosting their sixth annual Music & Makers Market from 10 AM until 5 Pm at the Mohnton Memorial Park. Several big name bands will be playing a variety of music including blues, country, jazz and rock. Artisans and craftspeople from the Tri-County area will display and sell original handcrafted items, such as jewelry, pottery, textiles, woodwork, food and more. Other activities will include a cornhole tournament for adults and Magic in Mohnton’s playground area, a bouncy house, face painting, balloons and aK-9 presentation for the kids. This event is free and open to the public.

Gathering At The Grove

13th Guts & Glory Health & Wellness Expo

The 13th Annual Guts & Glory Health & Wellness Expo is taking place on Saturday, October 3 from 11 AM to 3 PM at Jim Dietrich Park! This event is a free, community-wide celebration of health for people of all ages and walks of life! It showcases a farmers market, educational booths, small businesses, nonprofits, fresh locally sourced food, live cultural performances, fitness zones, health screenings, live yoga classes, massage, wellness experts, active engagement with First Responders, and an interactive human colon exhibit, to name a few features. This event is designed to educate the health curious, elevate the understanding of the health conscious, and raise community awareness of the importance of digestive health through the free exchange of information and resources. This event aims to bring about positive impact to improve the lives of the residents of Berks County by inspiring and compelling people to eat and live better. Annual Fleetwood Main Street Fair

The Annual Fleetwood Main Street Fair is taking place on Saturday, October 3 from 9 AM to 2 PM. All proceeds from this event are used for a scholarship fund that benefits two graduating seniors at Fleetwood, as well as in the form of a donation to a local nonprofit. In addition to multiple local vendors set up along main street, the day will also include delicious food, two bands performing throughout the day, an apple pie eating contest, and more! Rejoicing Spirits Services & Fellowship

First Sunday of Every Month

Rejoicing Spirits of Eastern Berks County invites anyone to attend their services and fellowship times on the first Sunday of every month at 3:00 PM at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ. Parking is located behind the church with an accessible entrance from the parking lot. All are welcome to each 30 to 40 minute, no-shush ecumenical worship service that enriches the lives of all people, especially the differently-abled, their caregivers, families and friends. Rejoicing Spirits includes music, playing musical instruments, joyous singing, opportunities to participate, brief and meaningful messages, and the chance to connect with others.
