2026 Concert Series

May 2026 - August 2026

For 25 years the Borough of Kutztown has sponsored a Summer “Concert Series in the Park“, with concerts running from late May to August. The concerts are held in the historic Kutztown Park bandshell, primarily on Saturday evenings, with a few weekday and Sunday concerts. These concerts are FREE and open to the public, with a variety of bands and music to appeal to different audiences. These free concerts provide the opportunity to listen (and dance) to music all summer long.

Kutztown Kruizz 2026

Kutztown Strong is hosting their Annual Kutztown Kruizz event on Saturday, July 25. All proceeds help our grassroots coalition to continue providing programs and activities that support the behavioral health and well-being of local children, youth, and families. Vehicles will cruise up EAST Main Street due to construction on West Main. As one of the fastest growing car events in the region, the Kruizz attracts over 250 cars and several thousand spectators annually. The event will be held rain or shine, and registration opens at 9 AM in the Kutztown Area High School Parking lot. The cost to register is $20. You can also register our car(s) online in advance by July 25 here. The Kruizz begins at 10 AM and goes from Pine to Elm on East Main Street in Kutztown. From 11 AM to 2 PM, enjoy kids’ activities, food, live music by The Zeptones, and more. An awards ceremony will take place at 1 PM, and a concert will take place in the park at 6 PM. There will be dash plaques and awards for the top five best in show!

5th Annual Christmas in July Secret Santa Bingo

Transplant Alliance is hosting their annual Secret Santa Bingo on Saturday, July 25 at State Street Bingo. Doors open at 5 PM, and Bingo starts at 6:30 PM. Join us for a night packed with holiday cheer, exciting prizes, and community fun — all with a summer twist. Prizes include toys for kids and adults, designer purses, tools, electronics, and much more! Admission is $40 for adults and $25 for kids under 12 and includes 16 regular bingo games. Crime Alert Berks County Tune for Tips Concert

The Uptown Band performs at Crime Alert Berks County benefit—$40 for live music, all-you-can-eat food and drinks. The Annual Kutztown Day will be on Sunday, August 2, 2026 at Kutztown Park. The event starts at 12pm consisting of community and civic groups with displays, firs responder demonstrations, Bingo, a cake walk, disc golf, cornhole, quoit tournaments, and children activities. There will also be additional activities and fireworks to celebrate America 250. Attendees and Vendors are encouraged to wear red, white, and blue.

Hamburg Rotary Golf Tournament

The Hamburg Rotary Golf Tournament will be on Friday, August 7, 2026 at the Galen Hall Golf Course. The event will feature a shotgun start at 1pm, rain or shine, 4-person scramble. Golf, dinner, soda, beer, and prizes will b e available. The cost will be $90 per golfer. Proceeds will benefit the Northern Berks Food Pantry, Salvation Army, Hamburg Public Library, The Hamburg area Historical Society and the Hamburg Community. Peach & Ice Cream Festival

The Oley Fire Company is hosting the Peach & Ice Cream Festival on Saturday, August 8 from 12 PM to 9 PM at the Oley Fire Company Fairgrounds. There will plenty of food and fun for the whole family! Enjoy fresh peaches and ice cream, peach pies and clam bakes, plus a variety of many other food items to choose from. Guests will have the opportunity to participate in a huge raffle for your chance to win valuable local products and gift certificates. The 17th Annual Bill Conrad Memorial Quoit Tournament will take place at 8 AM that morning. It is $60 per team of two. Please contact Bill at 610.763.8092 to register. 17th Annual Brake the Cycle of Poverty

Friend, Inc. is hosting their 17th Annual Brake the Cycle of Poverty event on Saturday, August 8 from 7 AM to 2 PM. The race will begin from Rickenbach Learning Center at Kutztown University and will be held rain or shine, with post-ride food, drinks and live music by Maddy Kas after the event. One of Berks County’s premier cycling events, Brake the Cycle of Poverty delivers a beautiful day through the rolling hills and scenic landscape across some of Pennsylvania’s most beautiful terrain. 62, 40, 25, and 10 miles routes offer something for everyone! The 62 mile begins at 8 AM, the 40 mile begins at 8:15 AM, the 25 mile begins at 9 AM, and the 10 mile begins at 9:15 AM. The cost is $40 to pre-register and $50 the day of the event. Hawk Mountain Council’s Shoot For A Cause Trap Shoot

The Hawk Mountain Council is hosting their Annual Scouting America Shoot For A Cause Trap Shoot on August 14, 2026 at the South End Gun Club. This fun, competitive, and impactful event supports the young women and men of Scouting America Hawk Mountain Council. This exciting day of shooting and camaraderie brings together outdoor enthusiasts, community leaders, and supporters who believe in investing in the next generation of leaders. Proceeds from the event directly benefit local Scouting programs that build character, leadership, and life skills for youth across our communities. The day begins at 10:00 AM with registration and access to a practice station. At 11:00 AM, participants will gather for the opening ceremony and mandatory safety briefing, followed immediately by the start of the competition. Each participant will shoot a 75-target course, culminating in an exciting Shoot-Off finale to determine top honors. Following the competition, participants are invited to enjoy an after-event reception featuring a raw bar, social time, and awards ceremony, a perfect opportunity to celebrate, connect, and recognize outstanding performances. Every shooter will receive a commemorative participant gift as a thank-you for supporting Scouting. Ammo will not be provided for this event. Participants are responsible for bringing their own ammunition. Come out, take your best shot, and help make a lasting difference in the lives of local youth. Fleetwood Blues Festival Pennsylvania

Friends of Fleetwood Parks presents: Every Shade of Blues, August 23, 2026, from 2 to 6 pm at the Evergreen Club. Performers include the Eddie Bluestone Trio, The Blue Cadillacs, Dave Mell Blues Band, and special guest Whiskey Kreek. Admission is $10 at the gate, children 12 & under are free. Food and beverages will be available. All proceeds from the event benefits The Friends of Fleetwood Parks, a nonprofit organization supporting Fleetwood Parks.

30th Annual Chile Pepper Festival

The 30th Annual Chile Pepper Festival is taking place on Friday, September 11 and Saturday, September 12 from 9 AM to 6 PM at the William Delong Memorial Park in Bowers, PA. This event is held both days rain or shine! Jalapeno eating contest will take place on Saturday, September 12 at 1 PM. In addition to trophies, first place receives $100, second place receives $75, and third place receives $50. Guests will also enjoy music by The Chile Pepper Ramblers. 18th Annual Leesport Area Community Days

The Leesport Area Historical Society is presenting the 18th Annual Leesport Area Community Days on Friday, September 11 from 5 to 10 PM and Saturday, September 12 from 2 to 9 PM at the Leesport Playground. This is a cherished event that brings the community together for two unforgettable days of celebration, connection, and fun! Celebrate America’s 250th Birthday and commemorate the 25th anniversary of 9/11 with an Honor Guard presentation to kick off both days. A fireworks spectacular will conclude the event on Saturday evening at 9 PM. Enjoy a DJ, food trucks, games, Bingo, raffles, live music by Die Tired, Ole 97, Agent 99 and the Schuylkill Valley High School Band.

Music & Makers Market

Saturday, September 12 & Sunday, September 13, 2026

On Saturday, September 12 and Sunday, September 13 the Mohnton-Cumru Lions Club is hosting their sixth annual Music & Makers Market from 10 AM until 5 Pm at the Mohnton Memorial Park. Several big name bands will be playing a variety of music including blues, country, jazz and rock. Artisans and craftspeople from the Tri-County area will display and sell original handcrafted items, such as jewelry, pottery, textiles, woodwork, food and more. Other activities will include a cornhole tournament for adults and Magic in Mohnton’s playground area, a bouncy house, face painting, balloons and aK-9 presentation for the kids. This event is free and open to the public.

Gathering At The Grove

On Sunday, September 13 the Blandon Lions Club is hosting their annual Gathering at the Grove. This is a free community event that includes live music, free food and ice cream. Three local bands will be playing this year: The Luke Hertzog Band, The Hannah Violet Trio, and Crow Hill Bluegrass.

Taking place from 7:15 AM to 9:00 AM at the Redner’s Event Center at First Energy Stadium,  this event honors the recipients of the Barry E. Rohrbach President’s Award, which is being presented to Dr. Susan Looney. The Law Enforcement of the Year Award will go to Det. Robert Long. Alan Kline will receive the Lifetime Service Award. 13th Guts & Glory Health & Wellness Expo

The 13th Annual Guts & Glory Health & Wellness Expo is taking place on Saturday, October 3 from 11 AM to 3 PM at Jim Dietrich Park! This event is a free, community-wide celebration of health for people of all ages and walks of life! It showcases a farmers market, educational booths, small businesses, nonprofits, fresh locally sourced food, live cultural performances, fitness zones, health screenings, live yoga classes, massage, wellness experts, active engagement with First Responders, and an interactive human colon exhibit, to name a few features. This event is designed to educate the health curious, elevate the understanding of the health conscious, and raise community awareness of the importance of digestive health through the free exchange of information and resources. This event aims to bring about positive impact to improve the lives of the residents of Berks County by inspiring and compelling people to eat and live better. The Right Price Game Show

The State Theatre Preservation Society is hosting a 10th anniversary fundraiser by presenting The Right Price Game Show, Boyertown Edition, on both Saturday, October 10 at 7 PM and Sunday, October 11 at 1 PM. Annual Fleetwood Main Street Fair

The Annual Fleetwood Main Street Fair is taking place on Saturday, October 3 from 9 AM to 2 PM. All proceeds from this event are used for a scholarship fund that benefits two graduating seniors at Fleetwood, as well as in the form of a donation to a local nonprofit. In addition to multiple local vendors set up along main street, the day will also include delicious food, two bands performing throughout the day, an apple pie eating contest, and more! Rejoicing Spirits Services & Fellowship

First Sunday of Every Month

Rejoicing Spirits of Eastern Berks County invites anyone to attend their services and fellowship times on the first Sunday of every month at 3:00 PM at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ. Parking is located behind the church with an accessible entrance from the parking lot. All are welcome to each 30 to 40 minute, no-shush ecumenical worship service that enriches the lives of all people, especially the differently-abled, their caregivers, families and friends. Rejoicing Spirits includes music, playing musical instruments, joyous singing, opportunities to participate, brief and meaningful messages, and the chance to connect with others.
