3D Screening Mammograms

Saturday, June 15, 2024

Please encourage the women in your family, a neighbor or friend to take advantage of this opportunity to have their mammogram screening done on Saturday, June 15th, 10 am to 2 pm during the Juneteenth Community Family Barbecue. Call 1-833-34-TOWER to schedule your appointment today. This program is sponsored by the Reading Hospital Foundation.

Screening mammograms can help find breast cancer in its earlier, most treatable stages. While breast self-exams are an important way to keep your breast health in check, mammograms are the most effective screening tool for cancer. Mammograms (X-rays of the breast) are the most effective screening tool for detecting breast cancer and can find concerning areas that we cannot feel ourselves. While mammography involves a small amount of radiation exposure, it is completely safe and less than you would receive during a chest X-ray.
