Boy Scout Troop 103 Fall Shoe Drive

August 10, 2025 - November 15, 2025

Troop and Pack 103 are collecting used, gently worn and new shoes for a shoe drive this Fall. They accept all sizes, types, styles of shoes/sneakers/boots. The troop is working with an organization that will help people in developing countries develop a micro-enterprise with these used shoes. They are making an impact by reducing shoes entering landfills and also re-purposing shoes that people have outgrown, no longer use, or just aren’t their style anymore. Shoes can be dropped off at the troop’s scout cabin at St. Paul’s UCC located at 5 W Arch St Fleetwood, PA. There is a designated bin on the side of the cabin for shoe donations (not the large bin for Opportunity House) under the roof on the side of the building. Local pick-up can be arranged for any donations if needed as well. Please contact Brittany Blose at [email protected] or 610.914.9046 to coordinate pick up. Learn more about the event here.

Dine And Donate To Support Asher Williams

Tuesday, October 14, 2025

Be sure to dine in at or order take out from Fiore’s Chill-n-Grill in Blandon on Tuesday, October 14 anytime between 11 AM and 8 PM to support Asher Williams. A resident of Fleetwood, Asher has been in the hospital more than he’s been home since being born on July 16. He is currently at CHOP, where a swallow test revealed that he is aspirating with every swallow, causing breathing difficulties. Since being placed on a feeding tube, he is now able to breathe without the assistance of oxygen. Aspiration is a symptom, not a diagnosis, so more testing is needed and he remains at CHOP until more answers and a treatment are in place. Even after being discharged, he will require assistance of a feeding tube until a corrective procedure can be done. Simply mention Asher Williams and 20% of your bill will go towards his medical expenses.
