Every year, employees of the only bank headquartered in Berks County come together to volunteer their time to raise funds for local nonprofits within our community. While different nonprofits throughout Berks County are selected to benefit from this initiative each year to help spread the wealth, the Bank has always donated 100% of the proceeds evenly among the selected charities.

In the past three years alone, Fleetwood Bank has raised over $33,000 to benefit local organizations throughout Berks County.

In 2025, our team had a goal of raising $12,500. This goal was exceeded by $1,740 thanks to the help of our customers, employees, local businesses and neighbors throughout our great community. As a result, Fleetwood Bank was able to donate the $14,240 that was raised between the following local charities: Hannah's Hope Ministries, Pawsitive Hearts Pet Therapy and Rescue, Inc., The Greater Reading Mental Health Alliance, and VOiCEup Berks.

In 2024, we celebrated our 10th Annual Gift Basket Bingo by surpassing our goal of raising $10,000 to the tune of $1,000. The $11,000 raised was donated to Habitat for Humanity of Berks County, New Journey Community Outreach, Safety Net Sanctuary and Veterans Making A Difference. In previous years, we had always donated to three nonprofits. This was the first year that we donated to an additional benefiting charity.

In 2023, we successfully raised $7,951.33, allowing us to donate $2,650 to Olivet Boys & Girls Club of Reading & Berks County, CONCERN, and the Animal Rescue League of Berks County.
